The State Teachers' Institute for Washteuaw eount}-, will be held at Dexter, commencing at 10 o'clock a. m., Monday, August 18, and closing Fnday following. II. A. Williams, Esq., Dexter, local committee. It is becoming a well established fact an interchange of views, sucli as is iven in these Institutos, is of great practical beneñt to those wlio attcncl tliem. The teachers that are found in the front ranks of their profeseion ave generally those who tnke interest enough in their work to avail themselvei of such nieaiis of improvement.
