The Old Red School House Valedictory

The oíd time valedictory poem in use at the oíd red "skule houses" at the cross-roads was not as pretty as the latter-day eftbrts of the gradúate of city colleges and seminaries, but perhaps it expresses the sentiments of the valodictorians (]uite as closely. It used to run something after this styleGood by acholare, Good by school; Good by toucher- Darned old fooi. -Buffalo Exprtsi. - In the Friends' annual meeting t Newport, recently, one of the young members of the association protested against the custom of men and womeu sitting apart, but nothing was done toward abolishing it, although the sentiment of the meeting is said to hav been strongly against separatioa.-
