James Clark a former Ann Arbor boy but in the real estáte business in Dakota was in town last week. Mrs. J. .). Goodyear goes to Jackson to-morrow morning to visit her fiieiuls Miss Bellen and Mis. Knickerbocker. A. J. Kelly, of Scio vill.ige, has rented his house ane lot and ftone to Waynö, to remain a few weeks with liis son G. W. Kelly. Michael .1. Seery was down from Jackson Monday and Tuesday, looking out for the chances of his registership lightning rod. Miss Blanche Hayden, who was in attendance at the High School twoyearago, stopped In town Tuesday while on her way to Wellesley College, Mass. Will C. Carman, of East Saginaw, is visiting his sister Mrs. Geo. H. Pond, on E. Cathariue street, accouipanied by his friend, K. H. Ilubbard, of Flint. Geo. N. üilbert returned thejMSt weck from Gleu Falls, N. Y., accoinpanied by his mothcr, where they have been visiting for several weeks. Mr. Gil hert is now visiting in Chelsea.
