At the rcquest of many of our greenback leaders who do not understand the bargafe between their party and the democracy in this state, we will make a brief explanation. It will be noticed that the democratie and greenback press of Michigan keep mum on the subject. The democratie electoral ticket in this state will show the bllowing seven demócrata and six green hackers, demócrata in Roman, and greenbackers In Itálica : Wm. B. Moran. Herma Ooerchel. John W. Flan ders. Andrew A. Ihrshaw Hlram O. Roso. Alfred u. Mlllard. Fred Carnahnn. Wm. D. Thompsou. A S. I yckman A. F. Kelsey. J. J. Walkins Jno. K. Savage. Wildman Mills. The greenback electoral ticket will enntain seven greenbackers and six demócrata greenbackerain Ualie, dtmocrats in Roman. Moses W. Field. Jolin W. Flanders lierman Gotnhtl. Hlram O. ]se Andrew ïV. Ilershaw. Alfred (,. Mlllard Fred Varnahan. Wm. D. Thompson. A . S. pyekman. A . F. Kelsey. 'VV, 'VaiH'"J uo. R. Savidge. Wildman Mills. It wil! thus be seon tliat the name of Afose W. Field, green backer, is not on the democratie ticket, and that the nam of Wm, B. Moran, democrat, is not on the greenback ticket. Tlils insures the election of at least one republican presi¦ dential elector; slnce the fusionists concede that neither Butler nor Cleveland wttl begin to poll as many votes asBlalne in this slate. Now those Rreenbackers- and th'ey are not a few who may desire not to contiibute to the eleition of such a man as Cleveland, will do the sensible thlng in taking the tirst six natnes trom the republican list ofelectors and substitutinu thein for the domecratic ñames, on their state ticket. Wliich would make a ticket as tollows Moses W. Field. flwUjht Cutler. Herman Goeschel. Joneph li. Moore Andn-w N. Harsliuw. James McMillan FredCiiriialian. William .1. Wüccx A yokraaii. Ot.orge ff. French. John L. Watklns. .. Kastman JohnV lldiniui Mills. sOn. Tlie Argus re-publlshed the Kcnnebcc Journal forgery last weck after it knew it to be a furgery, IhlU sliowing its politieal knavery. Wliydidn't you ohange Donaldson'a name to Donelson, and make t correct? Xo one wil] be deceived by sueli oontempt.ible trickery. Fuithernioie the Argus knows, if It kDOWl anything politically, that Janus O. Dlaine was a memher of the republkan national convention tlmt noninated John G. Fremont, and that the Kennebec Journal never supportetl any other candidate in that campaup. 'l'he Morey letter forirerv igainst Qarfleld ni a deêperatejtrlck but Ui is is fully as low, mean, deapieable and desperate. Demócrata who do not care to give Ben. üutler and the rebel General West, a portion of their guffrage, can replace the greenbaek electora on thcir ticket with six republican electnrs. Of course Beecher stands up lor Cleveland. Birds of a feather, etc. At lust the amount Mr. Ciamer elurges thecounty in the tramp business has been made public. Ipitead of $000, as Btated on good liear-say evidence last week, the amount is $2."0. Well, that proves that Mr. Cintner will reoeíve pay- generan pay-for liis services to the oounty and deserves no votes on the ground of inatittide. A vote for Jas. T. lloney, of Dexter, is a vote you will not repret. putting lnto the ballot box.
