HoD. T, T. Lyon, president of llie Stilte Hortlcultnral Society, paid a living visit to Prof. E. Baur last Saturduy, in regard to an exhibit of fruit from this oounty to the exposition at New Orleans. All fi uit growers who have perfect specimens of f ruit, fonr specimens of eaeh kind, are requested to brin tliem next Saturday to tlie monthly pomological meeting, or at any time to Mr. Qanzliorn, the aecretary of the society. Specimens are to be wrapped separately in two or or more thickneeees of newgpaper, or otlicr soft paper with the name upon a label written with tak. Each variety should be enclosed in a paper saek, also with the name upon the outslde of the sack. These fruits oom pete for premiums. Wasbtenawahoald have a crediiable show at the World'a Expoiltion.
