On Frlday night last the dwelling house of W. A. Bunting, operator and ticket agent at the M. C. depot, on Elizabeth street, was entered by burglars and $23 in cash was abstracted from a pocketbook In a hand-satchel which was hanging in the family steeping room. Theyleftthe satchel hanging on the outside dooi-knob, the money being all they deslred. The dwel'ing house of Patrick O'Brici), on Liberty street. was entered on the sarue nighf, the ininateschloroformed and a gold watch and $5 in money taken. The same niglit an attempt was made to enter F. Kelticli, Jr's., saloon, on S. Main street. The thieves bored several holes around the lock on the rear door, but were evidently fnghtend awaj' by sotne meaB, and went o ft' without accomplishing their purpose.
