Mr. Chas. V. Garfield, secretary of the State Horticultural Society, attended the November meeting of the society. B. Covert, C. H. Woodruff, Misses Sarah Fletcher and Cora Bird. The meeting adjourned to two weeks from last Saturday, on the lOth of November. Those desiring to contribute to the fruit exliibit at New ürleans will please bring their fruit on or bet'ore next Frtday, to the house of Secietary Ganzhorn, at the hend of Spring street, four specimens of each kind, wrapped separately in two or more thicknesses of newspaper, witli the name uponalabe), written with ink, each vaiiety to be enclosed in a paper sack, with the name on the outside.
