Hon. E. P. Allen, of Ypsllantl, is In town today. A. L. Noble skipped tlown to the metropolis ycsterday. A. F. Freeman, of Manchester, is in attendence upon court. Frank Hannister. of Owosso, spent Thanksgiving with his párente in this city. B. Frank Bower spent Monday in the oity with his mother and sisters, on N. Ingalls st. Hovvaid Stephenson, ot Vpsilanti, was in town Monday, looking after his insurance business. Hon. Frank Emerick.of Alpena, judge of the Alpena circuit court, is in town visiting old fiïends. Mrs. Addie Folk, who has been visiting at A. C. Bliss' for a few weeks, returned to Leipsie, Ohio, Monday. Mrs. John Thompson left Ann Arbor for Jacksonville, Florida, where she expects to retnain during the winter. Wm. Fisher, one of the oldest printers in this section of the state, who has been at the case over 50 years, is quite ill at hls residenco on K. Main st. Donald Mclntyre and wife, who have been visiting friends in this vicinity for the past few days, returned to their home iii Ann Arbor Tuesday.- Stockbritlge Sun. E. S. Milk-n and Mr. Louis R. Buchoz, of Ann Arbor, friends of "ye local,1' junior editor, stopped ofTat Midland Tuesday on their way for a grand hunt in the woods of Clare county.- Midland Sun. V. R. Chambeilain, editor of the Register, left yesterday to attend the national couvention of the Delta Upsilon society, to be held at Columbia college, Jg. Y. City .James A. Robinson slings the quill during his absence.
