Witliin a week snow has fallen In graat abimdince, and is the dellelit of nearly al] our hearts. I5ut to inany it s a burilen, especially if we can judge by the condition of their sidewalks. Our ordinance provides for the riffhtof way for all velikles, pedestrians, etc., and of course has reference to the heaps of snow lying upon walks at the present time. This nuisance oceurring as it does year after year, to tlie very great inconvenienee of hundreds of our worthy citizens, should be remedied; and if our city ordinance means anything, it should be enforced in this particular, and the owners or oceupants should be roundly taxed for the saine. It is Bincerely to be hoped, now that our attention has been drawn to the above, that we will recognize its necessity. and likewise raake it easy for those who are not so fortúnate as ourselves in having top boots to wade and travel throurh its
