Peebles, of the fifth ward, is just getting around after several day's siege with sickness. Jas. A. Robison.D.C. C, (deputy county clerk) visited friends in Pinckncy the last of the week. John Bour, of Toledo, formerly a resident of Ann Arbor, was In town for a while last Friday. Peter Dignan is getting around otice more after wrestling for about five weeks with typhoid pneumonía. Peter Ingalls, on Maynard streef, has hacl another severe attack of heart disease, but is now up and ont igain. Miss Katie J. Rogers, after an all winter's siege with typhoid fever, isgettingso she sits up a few hours dail.v. Miss Bessie Richardson, of this city, leives to-day for Laingsburg, wherc she has secured a teacher's position. Miss Josio Hydc on S. División st., entertained about twenty of her young fnends Thursday evoning last. Chas. Canwell who was accidentally injured on the D., L. & N R. R., recently, is now visiting his friends In Ann Arbor. Aid. Luick, of the lst ward, celebrated his birthday last Friday by having a large party of friends at his house in the eveuing. Mr. Henry Sellman and wife, Mr. Ed. Sellman and Mr. Ledro Hunter, of South Lyon, came down to hear Staflbrd Friday night. Mrs. Wm. N.
