I hore were no rceitations Monday, the scholars ucic only rctting classiticd and ascertainlng the recitatloo hours. Tliuro will be a social of the Junior class at the residence of Miss Parker, corner of Ann and Fourth sts., Saturday eveninir. The acholan appointcd for the Junior Ex., are to have their pictures taken next Saturday afternoon. Lewis and Gibson will do the work. The juniors in the classical and Latin courses begin Ovid this term. The classes in Physics take up the subjects of Sound and Light. Arnong the bezinning classes this term are tlmse in Botany, Algebra, Arithmetic, and Grecian Histoiy. Prof. Wincs takes the class in Astronomy. There was a meeting of the Junior class in room No. 2. Tuesday, to appoint a committee to expresa thauks to the Seniora for their kindness in decorating the chapel for the cxhibition exercises and at the meeting, however, it was decided to tend a delégate to express their gratitudeorally to the seniora. Mr. J. R. Angelí was appoiiiUnl to fulfil the duty. At their meeting in No. 8. the Seniora appolnted the Omega board as follows, Messrs. Talley, Wyeth, Parfait, and Godard and Misses Ballinger, Bailey, Scadln and Garrigues. Also a petition was indlted to the Board of Educatiou, to substitute snme prominent orator for the acholan who are to deliver the orations at the gradnating exercises.
