Being well aware last Spring that carpets would advance in prices during the summer [which has already been the case] we bought a very large stock that we might be in shape to meet the large demand usually in this town during the months of July, August and Sept., and we say, notwithstanding the advance we will for the present sell all goods in our carpet department at old prices.
