The flrst of the season, "Nobody's Child," Saturday evening, August 15th. Work lias not been commenced on the Rink yet, to alter it over as a theatre, but tt is expected that in a week or two the same wlll be started and pushcd iorward witli a rush. Jacqaes Kruger has been enguged to nppear at the Qrand opera house on August 26th, in the new musical burlesque satire by Robert Orlffln Morris, entitled "The Skating Rink." This engagement, il one the play loving will be glad to hear of. Mr. Labadie is a young man of more than ordinary merit, devoted to his profession, an industrious and close student of character - Detroit Public Leader. Mr. Labadie is a very pleaslng actor and has a good supporting company. - Chicago ínter Ocean. The Labadie Comblnatlon compiiiy, with which the opera house will be opened Saturday evening the 15th inst., is pronounced by competent critics "the finest dramatic company traveling." The cenery which la carried for the occasion is magniflcent, and stage effects grand. The best recoramend that can be given tlicin, perhaps, is the fact that they are everywhere greeted with crowded houses.
