The Cocker League
At tlie second meeting of the young pi opio, held at the M. E. Church, Mon(1 iy eveiiiiiir, an organization was perfected and conslitution and by-laws adopted. In tlie choice of a name several were suggested, but it was linally decided to adopt the title of Cocker League, in honor of the meuiory of Rev. Dr. IJ. F. Cocker, who was so intimiitely connected with the chuch for so many years, and whose life is a sweet meinory to every one who kuew liitn. The object of tliie society, as stated last week, is social, literary and devotlonal, and it is formed in tlie interest of tlie students in attendance upon the university and high school, as well as the yoa'ng people of the church. There will be mucb work it can flnd to do in elevating and bringing into a social and picasant rcligious and moral atmosphere those in whose interest it is formed. The offlcers chosen for the ensuing year, the pastor of the church, ltov. W. W. Ramsay being president, ex-offlcio are: Preatdcnt- Prof. H. Wad Kogors. Int vlce pre.- (leo. M.
