Council Meeting

A special meeting of the coniuion conticil wiis held Saturday evenin, at 8 o'clock. Aid. Henderson presided in the absence of the Mayor. After a few preliminnry remarks, Aid. Lawrence offered the following resolution: Iletolvtd, That Mayor Kapp, E. D. 'Klnne City Attorney. Chrlstlaa Mack, Judge Cooley, and J. B. Davls bo appolnted a commlttee to nrrange the details of a contract with the Michigan Central R. B. Co., for the construction of a bridge over Detroit slreet. and report the same tu the councll for approval. Aid. Heinzman moved as au amendment, that the name of Aid. Lawrence be added to the comtnittee. Which was carried. The resolutiou as amended was then carried. Aid. Heinzman moved that the remataing wards of the city be re-numbered, on the same plan as the recent re-nurnbering of the lst ward, the work to be under tlie supervisión of the aldermen of the ward-. Carried. Council then adjourned.
