To be held at Lansing, on Tuesday, June 15, 1886, pursuunt to Act of the ast Legislature and under the managepent of a Board of Coinmissioners, appointod hy the Governor. A National Salutt; will be lired at sun8e. A Senii-Centennial Salute will be ired at noon. Papen will be read and spesches made during the day by many prominent citizens. Also voluntary addresses, if time vill penuit. Instrumental niusic for the day will be urnished by the follovring bands : 23d U. S. Infantry Band of Fort Wayne; Detroit, Knights of Pythias Band, Lansing; itid Cassopolis Military Band.Casíopoli.-. ocal niusic by the "Arion Qutirtette" of Detroit, Mesdames Clemclli of lïew York, ind Tilden of Mt. Clemeng, and the folowing froin Lansing: A chorus of 50 nixed roleei, the Lansing "Liederkranz" of 20 male voices, and a chorus of 100 childreu from the public schools. The whole under the management "f Trof. II. B. Honey, East Sagïfiaw. The exercises of the day will comnence at 10 a. m. with an ot Wtlcome" from the te,M of the Capítol y by Goveruor R. A. Alger. Immcdiutuly af ter the Governor'9 adIresg, and continuing through the foreïoon, papers will be read and speeches delivtred in ltepresentative Huil, in the öenate Chanibur, anil from the steps of he Capítol, interspersed with muic. At 12.30 p. m., a barbecue and grand asket picnic will be held on the fair (ronnds. Meat, potatoes, bread, butter, coffee, sugar and milk will be furnished o all a[iilicants tree of charre. These articles the guests will cali for at the carTing table. Ahund-iut table room will ilso be supplled, hut no diskes, plates, iiiives or cups. At 2 o'clock, p. m., speeches will be n:ule on the fair grounds, from the iudge's stand and balcony of Agriculural Hall, by sonie of ibe citizens with qgtrumenta! ánd vocal music at Intervals. At 7:30 o'clock p. m., Fpeakiiig will bc resumed in the Oapttol building, with nusii; as bcfure. Books containing the musir and words complete, also the programs for the day n detail, oait be obtained at the Capítol and on the fair grounds at a trilling cost. t is hoped that visitors will provide Uemselves with these books and that ül will join in singing the words whioh will be adapted to patriotic and popular ur.
