Republican State Contention

A Republlcan State Convention, to nomínate caudldates for State Offlcem, and for the transaction of other business, will be held at Powers' Opera House, in the city of Qrand Kaplds commenelng at 3 o'clock, p. ra., on Wedneaday, the 25th day of August, 1S86. In accordancc with a resolutlon adopted at Qrand Kaplds, May Ulth, 1866, every oounty wül be eutltled to one delégate for each 500 of the total vote cast for (jovernor, at the last state election (in 884), and one additlonal delégate for every fraetion ol 300 votes, but each orgauized county wlll be entltled to at least one delégate. Under a resolutlon of 1858, no delégate wlll be entltled to a seat who does not reside in the county he propoces lo represent In accordauce wlth a resolutlon adopted at a meeling ol the SUte Convention at Detroit, June S, 1880, Mie secretary of each county convention Is requested to forward to the secretary of the State Central Commltip, i.y thearliest mail.after the delegHtes to the State Convontion are choaen, a certltied Hst of such delegates as are eutitled to Dit In the State Conventlou. _
