The Chequamegon band returned from their sumiller stay at Ashland, Wis., last Monday a. m. Andy Boyer, for many years an Ann Arborite, is one of the famons New Orleans University Singers. Funeral services were held Monday a. m. from the Northfleld church. One of our live citizens who alwayg knows what he is talking about, hands us the following recipe for unfermented grapewinc: "Piek from the sterns sound ripe grapes, put them in a granite kettle, add a little water and cook slow until the seeds and pulp separate. Press or strain through a cloth, return to the kettle, add Miree pounds of white sugar to every gallon óf juice, heat slow to simmering hot- not boil- skim well, bottle hot aud Seal.
