As we eo to press tlio county fair is jusl coinmeiicing business. The rain of yesterday dampcned tliings :i little, but nevertheless exhibits have kept pouring Id, and the show wlll be one equal, if not superior to fornier exhibits. The entries show that neurly every department will have suflicieiit display to make it of interest to the sight-seers while somc of tliem will be very large, indeed. The entries in live stock were never so great before. This is especlally so in the line ni horses, the stalls not belng snilicient to care for the animáis brougnt Id. ín cattle tliere is a magnificent exhibit, which is also trae of sheep and swlne. The sale of stock, it is thought, will be an event of interest to-day and to-morrow, and Friday. The speed trials to-morrow and Friday will be of great interest, as the entries testify. At Floral Hall everything is brlght and nttractive. Demand for space has never been as great ns this year, and our mercbants are out doing each other in making the hall attractive. It you do not attend the fair you will certaiuly miss a good tliing.
