The Amy Gordon opera company bav been playing to full house this week al the Grand. Miss Gordon has a magnificent voice and is well gupported. Miss Maud Granger has been engaged for her great play of " Lynwood,1' for Tuesday evening, Oct. 2Cth, in the grand opera house, to be given under the auspices and for the benefit of' Company A. Give the boys a rousing house. Seats 25, 50 and 75 cents. The Humpty Dumpty troupe of Tony Denier's and Stetson's "Neck and Neck'' both played before poor houses in Ann Arbor, and yet they liad the best shows tliat liave been seen in tlio opera house in many a day. Tickets for the season will bo sold at f 1.50 entitling the holder to reserve one seat for the wliole series. Wi.shtenaw Lodge No. 719 I. O. G. T. will hold one of their popular npron socials and cntertalnments on Friday eveninfr, Oct. 15. Eacli lady will furnish two aprons, wearing one, and the other 8 giveii to their escort to supper. Admission five cents. Oysters ind otlier refreshments will be served. Come and have a jolly time. Good niusic will be rendered. At Knights of Labor hall, over Tuoincy Bros.' store.
