But a few weeks before the reviews lommence. The senior class held a meeting Tuesl.iv and re-iidopted their motto of last year, 'Non quam multum, sed quitm bene' ; added (lark red to the farmer colors blue andyellow; and deeided upon a hat as class emblcm, rings, phil and canes being also considercd. A coininittee, consisting of Miss Bullis, L. T. Cole and N. C Martin, was appointed to examine hats and prices and report ut a tïituie meetinff. Prof. Ferry holds an examination in U. S. history Thursday of tliis weck and one in geography next week. The lirst and the second year essays aredue Monday next. Mr. ferry resI)ectfu!ly requests tliat these be uot encyclopedie essays. There is a growing interest in the Cliristian asociation work. "Lynwood," by -Mr. J. K. Tillotson, was first brought out at the Union Square Theater, New York last season. Miss Maud Granger takes the part of Lttcile. The llay ran 12 weeks. Miss QraDget thinks that Lynwood is one oí the strontfest plays on tie stae.
