The Germán Liitherans some time eince decided to establUh a Theological School in tliis state, and Gov. Croswell, of Adrián, and another gentleman having iijrreed to give two acres of land, the location was to huve been at that city. This arrangement, we are now inf rmed, has fallen tlirough. It would geem as tliotijfh Ann Arbor was the proper place to lócate these theological schools. Our immense librarle., trcating upon every known subject U a point in our favor worth thousands of dollars, and diftlcult to be overeóme by any other locality. There are but two such schools in existence in the state - one at Albion and one at Olivet. Those hereafter to be locuted will look to there own iuterests as the Eplscopulians have in establishing Hobart Guild hall here - whicli will oventually it is thought, be converted into a school of this order. The Presbyterians, we are infonned also have a similar project, not quite so lar aüvanced. In this city and viclnity are a large inimber of Germán Lutherans. There are two large and flourishing churches hcre and several throughout tlie county, all of which should be greatly interestcd in this project, and have inuch influence in Sta ïinal location. If the two acres of land is all that is asked for, it ought to be forthcoming, and that very quickly. In fact wo have the privilege of announoing to our readers that there is one man in our city who agrees to give one acre, In a rery desirable location. He doesn't care to hare bis name made public, but any persou or persons wishing to give the other acre cnn ascertain who it is by applying at the Couribb office. Procrastination will steal this opportuuity f rom Ann Arbor. If anytulng ie done it must be done at once. YVhy can't our "booming associatiou find soniething to work upon in this project?
