Dlrectly aftenvurd the Mnyor coming In, senous business was proweded wlth. Aid. Martin moved that the time for the collection of taxes be extended to the lst day of March. Which was agieed to. Chief Albert Sorg of the tire departnient, addressed the council ín reference to liis department, and considerable discussion follovvtd. Nothlng very fire y, however. Mayor Kobison callcd the attention of the oouncll lo the desirability of extending mi invitatlon to the members of ttie lejiislature to visit this city and lonk over the University, and after considerable diseuMlon Aid. Tue liecorder moved that a committee of three, to){ether with City Attorney Klimt', be apiciinted to co-operate with a committee of the University faculty or otheis, to raise funds to defray necessary expenses. Carried, and Aids. Allmendiujfer RobUou and Martín were so appointed. Several other matters were discussed but no action taken.
