The entertainment giren by Mie Cocker League last Monday evening was a great auccess; the hirge audience listened atten tively and highlyappreciated the excellent program. Where all did so well it is difficult to specialize in reporting the entertainment. "Traumerei" and "The March from Tannhauser" (violin, cornet and piano) by Mrs. Hall, and Messrs. Clement and Drake were well renderedand highly appreciated by all. (Mr. Clement has recently purchased the Wilsey stock of music, etc.) The "Dental Octet" made lts first nppearance before the League and their excellent selections were so well sung that they will be ever popular witli the League and the large audience who listened to tíieir 6nging. Miss Scrafford is au elocutionist of rare ability and completely won her audience, her "One Day Solitary" and "The Moon" were enthusiasticilly received by the whole audience. Mr. R. S. Smith's buss solo, "The London Bridge" was well sunir. Miss Michener, from the Oberlin Uonservatory of Music, with lier violin, gave the audience a rich musical treat In plavinj; "Cavatina" and other selections. Miss Michener's musical future seems brjght indeed. Judge Cheever's address on the "Real ConditioD of the öoutli," was instructlve, entertaining and well receivtd Mr. i. H. Clark's "Whistüng Solostook the audience by storm. Mr C. has a fortune la whistling; when he becojnes an "M. D." shou'.d he lack patients he can fill his office witli hisexcel'ent solos. Miss Garrigue's reniiition of "Cleopatra" and "The Sister'8 Beau" delighted the audience; both were received with great favor by all.
