Death Of Mrs. Geo. H. Pond

Nellie J. Pond, wife of City Recorder Geo. II. Pond, local editor of the Courier, died at her home on N. Iugalls st., Friday night of consumption. The discase was rmpld m its course. and relativos from Flint hardly had time to arrive before her death. She was 35 years and 11 months of arc, and had been murried 15 years. By her untimely departure foor young children nru left motherless, two of whom are now sick with measles. The funeral service conducted by Dr. linmsny at tho h(use Mondny morning wus attended by the Mayor and Coiumon Councll in a body. Beautiful llowers were brouglit by tlie Council, the press, the lSeglstcr office, the Coukier office and others.
