At the extra session of the Washtenaw Pomological 8'city on the llth int., Prof. B. E. Nicuols reportetl for the committee on transportaron very favrably for shippers of truit, who are invited to the next inonthly meeting on the 2nd of July to hear full report. The comrnittee on fruit preserving factory have tnade arrungeiuents with Messrs. Allmeudinger k Schnelder of the Central Mills to have the factory established thia season and run at least three years. The comuilttee expressed thelr gratitude to the public for their liberal support in this useful enterprise and wisti the lirni, who were gradually and somewhat reluctantly lead into the undertaking, abumlant succesa. Mra. Jennie B. Fisher reported on the strawtieiry exhibit: Mis. L. ├Âruner's exhibit of the White Spine, Queen and L'reaui, and James Vick btrawberries as the best and most tastefully arranged, and the White Spine as the ftnest flavored and most dect rabie variety. Thanks to the ladics who take sueh an interest in Correspondiiig Secrctary.
