Prof. Dewey is rusticating at Fenton. Dr. Watling and family are in Europe. Dr. Arndt reinalus nt home alt sununer. Dr. Frieze luis no plans perfected as y et. Prof. A. C. McLaugblin is ui Muskegon. Prof. Pattengill expects to remain at home. Prof. Walter Miller remains at home probably. Dr. Obetz lias removed with bis family to Detroit. Prof Scliaeberle bas no plans for a tour at present. Prof. Langley bas not decided yet wberc lie will go. Prof. Harrington is In Honduras, Central America. Prof. Payne is at present at Martini's Vineyard, K. I. Prof. Thomas will remain at home until August, at least. Prof. Elisha Jones and wife will probably go to Charlevoix. Prof. J. B. Davis is expected home the lattor part of the week. Prof. Chas. E. Greene is In Bangor, Maine, with bis family. Prof. Hennequin is flshing on the Huron, with flattering success. Librarían R. C. Davis will go to Osterville, Cape Cod, after a time. Law Librarían Vanee sees no prospect of getting away this summer. Prof. D'Ooge will sall for home froni Athens, Greece, about July 3Oth. Prof. Walters is already in Italy and will remain there for the summer. Dr. Dorrance not in town and plans for the summer campaign uot known. Prof. Sewall takes bis vacation in Colorado, leaving tberef r next week. Dr. Wood gyg he can't spend any time away from his business this summer. Prof. W. W. Beaman Dot any definite plans but is look ing toward Bay View. Dr. McLacblan and family will remain at home the greater part of the summer. Prof. Otis C. Johnson and wife are now in Scotland, and will summer in Europe. Dr. T. J. Sullivan will spend the summer nt home, booming Fort Worth, Txas. Prof Chas. N. Jones will go to New York a little later in the season to meet a friend. Dr. G. A. Hendricks will take an extended trip during August and September In Dakota. Prof. F. L. York, of the School of Music, sailed from New York yesterday for England. Dr. Vaughan and family expect te stay at home, except perhnps a sliort trip to Old Mission Beacb. Prof. Hudson is now in New York and will remain there and in Boston, pursuing a coursc of study. Prof. Chas. H. Stovvell and Mrs. Prof. Stowell will leave in a few days for Petoskey for the sununer. Prof. J. B. Steere, will sjwnd the next year and a half among the dusky natives ut' the Philippine Islands. Dr. Herdman will not leave the city before August if at all. as building and business keepf) him at home. Prof. Ford will go to his cottage at We-que-ton-slng, near Petoskey, Bay View, etc, in a short time. The professor will return in ten days or so. Dr. and Mrs. J. N. Martin leave Fridür morning for a short visit witb the Dr's parents at Quincy, Midi. Wade ia completely Ilooded with business, and will spend his nimmer in hard work as usual. President Angelí has no program perfected, but will umloubtedly visit Xaraganset Pier soine time in August. Dr. Dunster bas gone to Hanover, N. H., starting last Monday, to deliver a series of lectures at Darttnouth college. Treasurer Soule and family go to a bay witii an un-spellable name, way up in the nortb end of the losver península. Prof. Calvin B. Citdy's family are at Bay View, where he will join tbem assoon as Ibe Summer School of Music closes. Prof. DePont longs to repeat his north woods trip of last sumnicr, but is inuch discouraged over the prospect of goiay. Prof. Morris does not expect to leave the city permanently tbis vacation, lm' will camp out at Nortb Lake for a time. Prof. J. C. Ann street, died Sunday of cáncer of the stomach from wbich he had been sufferinif for many yearc. He was ajfed 51 years, and leaves n wlfe and seven chlldren. He had been in the employ of the University as carpenter for a number of years. At the recent annual meeting of the Ann Arbor Tannine Co., the following offleers were elected for the ensuing year: President, Chaa. E. Oreene; vice-presldent, Zina P. King; secretary-treasurer, Marie Konilnger. Director - Chas. E. Greene, E. Treadwell, Wm. Wagner, Tlios. Taylor, Daniel Hlscock, Charles llominger and Zina P. Ring.
