To save foreclosure some friends stepped in and paid $G00 Interest, and then a plan was niatured by Col. Dean and others by which the property might be saved 'to tho society. Tlie amonnt of the indebtedness, $4,000, was divided into forty partsf $100 each, and the name9 of forty citizensof this county taken who were wllling to in vest f 100, the business heilig transacted througli Col. Dean actlng as trustee, which list is as fullows: To theni has leen given a mortgage for the aniount, the interest spoken of above having been liquiilated f rooi receipts of the fair.
