Miss Ella Hancock, of Toledo, is visiting Mts. Sarah Ellsworth, on N. Thnyer st. Miss Allie Cnrtis leaves for Kalamazoo, Friday, to remain duriug the hollday season. Mrs. F. A.. Elilred, of Traverse City, has been visiting her sister, Mrs. W. F. Stimson. There will be a family galhering at the house of Hou. John J. Robison on Christmas day. Mib. Howard, of Springport, is visitmg lier sister, Mrs. 8. Q. Benliam, on E. liaron St. Mis Mary Kordes and Miss Nina Roys, of FaƱvell, are visiting relutives in the city. Miss Elida Lovejoy leaves for Rochester, N. Y., Friday to spend some weeks with relatives. Miss May Whedon is expected home Thursday night from St. Clair for the holiday season. Mrs. Prof. E. Jones gives a reception this evening from 4 to 7 o'clock in honor of Miss.'Wisner Evart Scott, M. C. Lc-Beau, J. E. Beal and the other New York delegates returned home yesterday p. m. Mrs. Gilbert Daniels and daughter, Mrs. Ella Montague, of Gregory, Mich., are visiting relatives in the city. The wife and children of Mr. B. F. Barnett retuined to their home In Muskegon, after a four weeks' stay with Mrs. B.'s mother on Huron st.
