Farmers Favoring Protection

At the recent meeting of the State Grange of Missouri Patrons of Husbandry the following resolution in support of Protection was adopted: Resolved, by the State Grange of Missouri, that its members are instructed to vote for no candidate, as leglslator, congressman or senator, who is not pledged to protect the agricultural industries of the State aml Is opposed to a policy of free trade under existing circumstances, whereby the labor of tuis country is compellcd to compete with the world.
