The section from Oyjfiiet to Llar" tías been in opemtion for six months past. From Lima to Chicago tlie last connccting pjece has been put in, and the iirst test bas been satisfactorily made, and the transportation of oil by this line to Chicago will begin at once, as the Standard has immense quanlltirs of oil ia storage whlch lms been awaitins; the completioii of this line. 'l'be main pumps irc at Lima and have a d:tily capacity of 15,000 barrels. PumpIng stations and tanks havlng a stomer of 30,000 barrels have been erected at Prehle and Laketop, the fprtner being 168 miles and the lattcr 122 miles from Chicaao. The cost of constructiiiiT this line was $7,000 per mile. To fill the pipe will rpqulre 72,000 barrels of oil and it will be li honrs pHMtnK from the pumiiifi works bere to the storarc tunks at South Chicairo. This gires the line a capacity of ii bont one thousatid barrels or 40,000 gallons per day.
