CHILDRENS COMMUNITY- LET IT GROW!

In the last issue of the SUN we said that we had a place for the school, but the Board of Directors of the Unitarian Church on Washtenaw said we could only use their space from 1:00 to 5:30 and that would not serve the purpose of the kind of Day Care Center that Ann Arbor needs. Our Community needs a Day Care Center from 7:30 in the morning until 5:30 at night to serve both student mothers and working mothers. We want to serve good food and lots of love to help the kids grow. We hope to handle about 30 kids, with tuition depending on income. So far we only have about 10 kids so if you know any kids of parents who would be interested, spread the idea around. We have lots of workers, teachers, supplies, ideas, and energy so all we need is a place and more kids. There will be a Community School meeting October 3rd at 3:00 at 1520 Hill St. All people interested are welcome. For further information, call 971-9367.
