We are going to be ptaying, showing and demonstrating two new instruments to all of you people who iove nuisic and especially for the musicians of our area and the en tire state. The RMI Keyboard Computer is a true polyphonic instrument utilizing a specialized Digital Computer. There are 29 permanent storage wavefonns split into 3 diviI sions. In addition to these, the waveforms can be programmed externally by nserting cards in the card reader. There are already hundreds of cards and new ones beI ing created every day - and all polyphonic! The digital waveform computer Jias no mechanisms to tune or adjust. Even the most complex wavefonns are accurately computed for proper harmonie content and amplitude. In other words, you could have a pipe organ sound that will blow you away and the next second a sitar! ! THINK of what could be done with an instrument like this - and it's only the beginning. The Harmonie Synthesizer is a precise approach to synthesis. You are given ac cúrate control of wavefonns by Digital Harmonie Generators. At your command I are the relative intensities of all overtones beyond audibility ! There are two Digital Harmonie Generators with stereo output, mixable preset waveforms, dynamic filter ' with low-pass, band-pass and high-pass mixable outputs. Intricate sequencer pattI erns created by holding chords. Even inputs for external sound sources and we are I going to put both of these units together just to see what happens! Please come to hear and play these instruments. MR. CLARK FERGUSON I from RMI will be here from September 23rd thru Sept. 26th (9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.) so bring your questions and anyone interested with you and be ready for a real musI ical experience.
