Private right-wing and anti-communist groups in South Africa are recruiting experienced white mercenaries to fight against the black liberation movement in Angola.

South African newspapers have been filled with ads in recent weeks offering around $1600 per month to military experts who are interested in "an in-and-out job."

The mercenaries are reportedly being hired by whites in Angola opposed to efforts by the Portuguese government to hand over territory to the African liberation movements.

A former Congo mercenary reports that experienced mercenaries, military specialists and pilots are being sought who would be able to move out in 48 hours.
