The numbor of gallons dis Ulied is 36,348,238, being about L 14-loOlhs gallons to each man, vvowan and child Pennsylvania produces the greatest number of gallons; the amount being 5,684,138. North Carolina has 2,798 disülleries, being the largest number in any one State. Michigan has 59 distilleries, proáucing 544,066 gallons.
