Baptist Testimony

The follüwing resoluiíon was recently passed by the Central Union Baptist Association, Pa. Resolved, That we do n obedience to the comrnandsof ourLord and Snvour, as accoimtable for our conduct and motives to Him alone - hereby record our solemn tesiimony against the sin of Americaji slavery; and that we wam and imploro all Baptists, implicated toclear themselves by open confession and repentance in the sight of God and men, of all participation in this great na!ional crime.
