Income Shows Rise

Argus Cameras, Inc., reported

its net income for the nine-month

period ended April 30 at $868,622,

compared to $829,745 for the same period

in 1955.

Net sales amounted to $16,370,-

246 for the period compared to

$16,172,261 last year.

Argus officials report that vir-

tually all government contracts

are completed and that no further 

work of this nature is planned for

the immediate future.

Sales of new products recently

introduced, as well as those still

in the development stage, are ex-

pected to improve the firm’s com-

petitive strength in the photo-

graphic industry, officials said.
