David D. Merriman Will
Succeed J. L. Clemens
David D. Merriman, comptroller
of Argus, Inc. since Feb. 6, and an
employe of the firm since 1947,
has be-en appointed to the post of
treasurer.

The new treasurer was graduated
from the University in 1935 and
from the University's School of
Business Administration in 1936.
Before joining Argus four years
ago as assistant comptroller he was
associated with the Timken Detroit
Axle Co.
Robert E. Lewis, vice-president
and general manager of Argus,
said the appointment was made
late yesterday at a meeting of the
board of directors of the company,,i
