Two Firms

Argus Incorporated, leading
Chicago-based manufacturer of
photographic equipment, has
completed acquisition of Execu-
graf Corporation, Los Angeles,
developer of a portable projector
employing an advanced audio-
visual sound filmstrip projection
system. The announcement was
made today by Malcolm N.
Smith, president of Argus.

The company was acquired by
Argus for an undisclosed amount
of Argus stock.

Concurrent with the acquisi-
tion of Execugraf, Argus has ac-
q u i r e d controlling interest in
Film Cartridge Productions,
Inc., Hollywood, California, a
sound slide film production com-
pany which has been operated
in conjunction with Execugraf.
Through its facilities, Argus will
provide consulting services to
the nation's leading film pro-
duction companies as well as
providing independent training
and educational film services.
