City Police Get
Two Bomb Threats
Bomb threats were called almost
simultaneously Friday to UAW Local 38
on S. State Road and neighboring Argus
Inc., involved in a union conflict for the
past several months.
Ann Arbor police said a male caller
phoned the threats at about 12:10 p.m.
They said the buildings were evacuated
and searched, but no explosives were
found.
The UAW building is at 2509 S. State
lid. and Argus is located at 2601 S. State
Rd.
Police said it is uncertain whether
there is any connection between the
threats and recent labor disputes at Argus.
