For Flower Show

Annual Display to Be Held
June 17,16 and 19 in Ed-
ison Co, Building

The annual Ann Arbor Garden
show will be held June, 17, 18, and
19 this year in the Detroit Edison
Co. building-, corner of South Main
and William streets. The show is
sponsored by the garden section of
the Faculty Women's club and this
year, Mrs. R. S .Hawley of Ann Ar-
bor High is chairman.

The event is open only to the

•»wing of iris, roses and peonies
srown by both professional and
amateur gardeners of the city and
vicinity, and all such persons are
urged to contribute to the display
with any snecimens of these flow-
ers that ' of interest to gar-
deners public. Ribbons
will be awarded to the winners. No
cash prizes are to be offered but
everyone who is interested and
wishes to offer such prizes, is in-
vited to do so.

Photographs of gardens also will
be shown and persons wishing to
enter such display are asked to
have enlarged pictures. Another
section of the show is to include
the most attractive arrangement of
flowers in special bowls, baskets or
vases. Tt is not necessary that
these flowers be grown in the ex-
hibitors garden as is necessary in
