The Garden Club of Ann Arbor
plans to do Jess elaborate com-
^"r.ity Christmas decoration proj-

'i-n^ontrate this season's interest
in the Ann Arbor Public library

At the library. Mrs. E. B. Mains
of Lorraine PI. and Mrs. H. H.
Higbie of, Awixa Rd. will create
their design for the Christmas
season.

The decorations at the postoftice
will be done as a project of the
study group taking up decorative
arrangements. Mrs. Irene B. John-
son of Haven Ave. is chairman of
this interest group, which is one
of four started in the club this
year. Mrs. Johnson has appointed
Mrs. Ernest Allmendinger of Henry
St. to design the decorations and
:to conduct a class in wreath-mak-
ing.

The first meeting of the group
will be held at 8:^U Tuesday morn-
ing in the basement of the post-
office, to study the technique of
making wreaths. Those that are
made will be used in the decora-
| tions. The group is open to all
'"i ^rested in learning this type of

,,J;mson will take the names of
[ persons who wish to enroll for
study or to take part in making
| decorations for this Christmas.

Because of the minuteness of

to weigh a pound.
