Walter F. Frey, 48, an employe
of the Michigan Neon Co. for the
past year, died yesterday at St.
"ph Mercy Hospital following
>vo weeks' illness. He lived at

'Vith the Michigan Neon Co.,
. Frey was manager of a small
sign production operation. He op-
erated the now-defunct Sports-
man Park here during the last
few years of its existence.
Mr. Frey was graduated from
Ann Arbor High School and was
a member of the football team
during the seasons 1923, '24 and
'25. He was a member of the
Bethlehem Evangelical and Re-
formed Church, the Model Rail-
road Club and the A. A. Club.
He was born June 7, 1907, a
son of George and Mrs. Anna
Seyfried Frey. His mother sur-
vives.
On July 6, 1934, he was married
to Irene McNutt of Ann Arbor.
She survives.
Other survivors are two sons,
James Frederick and William Ar-
thur and a daughter, Barbara
Jean, all at home; and two broth-
ers, Robert P. and Alfred L., both
of Ann Arbor.
Funeral services will be held at
3 p.m. Monday at the Muehlig
Chapel with the Rev. Walter '"
Press officiating. Burial will
in Bethlehem Cemetery.
