Dies At 73 In Hospital
MILAN — Mrs. Mae L. Snow-
ball, 7.3, a Washtenaw county resi-
dent for many years, died at St.
Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Ann
Arbor yesterday afternoon after a
- '"••I illness.
'-'n^ had made her home with
,a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and
Mrs. Merle Touse, at 232 Roland
St., Belleville, for the past 11 years.
She was born May 15, 1881, in
London township, Monroe county,
a daughter of Willard and Mary
Halstead. She was married to
TT.^rry Snowball on April 13, 1900.

the death of Mr. Snowball on May
23. 1943.
Mrs. Snowball is survived by a
daughter, Mrs. Lucille Touse, of
Belleville; two sons, Cyrus of
Grand Blanc, and Willard of
Milan; two grandsons, John To'use
and Thomas Snowball; three
brothers, Orin and Earl Halstead
of Milan and Edward Halstead of
San Francisco, Calif.; and a sister
Mrs. Leola Heisler of Battle Creek.
Funeral services will be held at
2 p.m. Thursday at the Stevens &
Bush Funeral Home in Milan, the
Rev. George Q. Woomer of Belle-
ville officiating. Burial will follow
at Marble Park Cemetery in Milan.
