Pennsylvania. - The Democratie majority ia about 25,000. Last year, the Hamaco ticket was elected by a majority of 343. Ohio. - Thejesult stands thus: Sonate. House. Democrats, 19 ' 37 Whigs, 17 35 OThe wbig majority last fall was about 24,000. JYew Jersey. - In the Council are 9 Democrats: 9 Whigs. In the Assembly, 23 democrats; 35 whigs. The whig majority has been reduced to a few hundred. We find in the Grand Rapids Enquirer. Oct. 26, a neutral paper, an address of the Liberty Party of the Representative District of Ionia, Kent and Ottowa to their fellow cítizens. It filis a column and a half of that paper, and is published without editorial comment. The address is of the rightkind, and will doubtless present to a great part of the readers of the Enquirer, many important trutbs with which they have not been familiar. The address is signed by Thomas Davis, Traman Kellogg and James Ballard.The Independent Democrat, a Massachusett8 paper, eays of Lucius Boltwood: "It is asserted and believed that he voted Jast fall for a slaveholder who has held even his oum children in bondage, for the office of Vice President of the Union." The first assertion is not true; but thö second may be correct.This holding one's children as slaves seems to be a grevious offence in the eyes of the Democrat, just at this time.
