Railroad Outrages
-Several cases offlagrant abuse of white as well as of colored persons on t.'ia eastern Railroads are detailed at length in the Liberator Tlie conductors of the cars assume the power of saying to each passenger, "Sit thou here," or "Sit thou there," and in case ofanoncompliance they precipÃtate the passengers out of the cars on to the ground in no time, no matter vvhat may be theirsex or color.- It is related of one wnman that after having been served n this manner, although unable to write, she made her mark upon the face of one of the ruffia ns in a legible manner. - Mr. John A. Cllins recently the agent of the A. A. S. Society in England, was not only ejected from the cars in this sumrnary manner, bot wÃs aho severely kicked and boaten, and abused yerbally by his foul-mouthed persecutora. These proceedings are awakag a fceling of indignalion throughout that section of country.
