Age 78, died Thursday, January 13, 2000 at the Oakwood Hospital Beyer Center. He was born September 11, 1922 in Newnan, GA, the son of George and Lula Bell (Gaddy) Gaddy. On September 11, 1963, he married Annie Watkins in LaGrange, GA and she survives. Delma had worked for Hoover Ball Bearing for many years, then worked for the Ypsilanti Police Department until his death. He loved his cars and the outdoors, including fishing and hunting, but especially loved his grandchildren. In addition to his wife of 36 years, Annie, survivors include six daughters, Sharon Miller of Ypsilanti, Regina (Justin) Shankle of AL, Pamela (David McElwain) Huffman of Ypsilanti, Debbie (Brady) Schultheiss of Ypsilanti, Sharon Blazer of Belleville and Reena (David) Scott of Belleville; a son, Orby (Gloria) Millers of Tecumseh; 17 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and a sister. Funeral service 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 15 at STARK FUNERAL SERVICE Moore Memorial Chapel with Pastor Roger Lands of the Glad Tidings Church of God officiating. Private burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 5-9 p.m. Friday.
