Paul A. Eisele
CHELSEA - Paul A. Eisele, 61, of 511 Cavanaugh Lake Rd., Sylvan Township, died in St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor early today following a long illness. He was hospitalized Sunday. He was born April 21, 1903, in Chelsea, the son of Albert and Wilhelmina Koch Eisele.
He married Isabel Howe on Aug. 28, 1930, in Royal Oak.
He was a masonry contractor for many years and was co-owner and operator of the Recreation Tavern in Chelsea until four years ago.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chelsea and the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Thomas of Chelsea and Richard of Ann Arbor; one daughter, Miss Lois Eisele of Ann Arbor; one brother, Leo of Horseshoe Lake; three sisters, Mrs. Magdaline Weber of Chelsea, Mrs. Kenneth Royal of Saline and Mrs. Eva Spencer of Birmingham, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Francis Maliszewski officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the Staffan Funeral Home, Chelsea, where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today.
