Dies From Heart Attack
WHITMORE LAKE - Mrs. Nancy M. Spiegelberg, 78, widow of the late Frank F. Spiegelberg, died suddenly of a heart attack Saturday afternoon at her home, 116 Barker Rd., here.
She was born Jan. 31, 1872, in Nankin township, Wayne county, a daughter of the late James and Matilda King, and came to Whitmore Lake when she was 20. She had made her home here since.
She was married on Jan. 11, 1896. Mr. Spiegelberg died Jan. 16, 1937.
Mrs. Spiegelberg was a member of the Whitmore Lake Methodist Church and served on the church board several years, acting as secretary part of the time. She was a member of the WSCS of the church.
Surviving are two daughters, the Misses Luella and Edna Spiegelberg of Whitmore Lake; a son, Harland, of Toledo; one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon from the Whitmore Lake Methodist Church, with Rev. Asa Compton officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon until the hour of the service. Friends may call at the residence until noon on Tuesday.
