END’S IN SIGHT: All that remains of the famous Whitney Theater and Earle Hotel Building at the southwest corner of Main and W. Ann Sts., are two floors and a skeleton of the rear portion of the roof and third floor wall. Soon, the demolition will be completed and construction of a new theater will begin. The new movie house will resemble the State Theater but will be smaller.
